Do you think anxiety exacerbates stuttering? I’m now having trouble communicating with my wife (never before had this issue). Every time I speak to others, it requires a very large exertion of effort to produce but a few words. Nothing is coming out most of the time. My psychiatrist prescribed an SSRI and I have taken it for about a week. Nothing happening thus far
