Im an LVN currently working in PDN, going back for my ADN next month. My stutter is pretty severe but in my experience (in school) its only ever been my classmates that gave me a problem with it. My patients never gave me an issue, in fact it was like they werent phased by it which was relieving. Ive asked nurses who stutter what it was like and they said coworkers are the main problem. For me thats okay since im a very confrontational person and its someone i can stand up to. But if i can do it so can you! Id be happy to share more of my experiences in school!
