I tend not to bring it up because I don't really care whether or not people know, or whether or not they understand it if they happen to notice. If they want to ask me, I'm an open book. But considering stuttering is not my foremost personality trait, I'm generally not in favor of announcing it every time I meet somebody. It's always seemed rather forced to me.
