Delivery and timing are everything. I presume you want to be respected even though you stutter. You deserve equal respect to a nonpws. It is better to acknowledge it (i.e., "sometimes I stutter" or "I have a stutter"). Some people may see you making fun of it as an invitation to the same. What if they make light of your stutter in front of multiple listeners? At work? You "set the frame for your stuttering." The meaning or lack of meaning of stuttering.
