I sympathize with your predicament. Unfortunately, there will be people who discriminate against us because of our stutter. It sucks to accept, but it's life. But please take my advice from a 40 something life long stutterer. Lose the mantra "I'd be such a good [x] if I didn't stutter". I believe I was very talented in things growing up, and I had the same exact mentality. It just created more fear and self doubt. I still had many successes in my life l, but if I didn't have that mantra in the first place I would have allowed myself to take more risks and just go for it. People are attracted to confidence. Don't forget that. So grab the stutter by the proverbial balls and act (pardon the pun) like you just dont care. And I agree with the other post. Always play to your strengths. It will open up doors.
