I remember one time when I was going to school knowing that the first lesson is going to be the one where I have to read in front of the class. I always would get mocked… And my father once told me “why should I worry about things I can’t change?”. He didn’t know my stuttering situation, but this thought helped me a bit. I understood that at that moment I can’t really change anything so why worry.
