I personally like the route of becoming comfortable with high stress situations. Like the navy seals. More navy seals die in training than they do in combat. They train so hard that nothing in the "real world" can faze them. This has been a major help in overcoming my stutter. So I would recommend becoming comfortable with desensitizing yourself to high stress (even more than the alarm announcements) so that you can handle anything that comes your way. Feel free to hit me up if you want some practical examples
