My stutter I apologize if posts like this are considered redundant here, I just wanted to vent a little. Ive had a stutter for about as long as I can remember all throughout my elementary school years, all the way to now, and ive also taken speech therapy for almost all my life until very recently (I believe my family ended it a year or two ago.) I cant say speech therapy has been much use for me, I try some of the techniques they taught me but nothing quite seems to work. ​ I apologize, but im not really familiar with all of the words regarding stuttering. A lot of the times ill be unable to say a word whatsoever and just be stuck there on the first sound or before (and if this is the case my family will yell at me and tell me to hurry it up, and act as if im intentionally trying to waste their time it hurts a lot.) Other times ill have repetitions or prolongations that make people poke fun at me and mock me. Even when im not stuttering people will mock me because my voice revolves around my stutter so I speak very slowly and people say I sound weird or """slow""". ​ Has anyone else experienced things like this?
