I took speech therapy for about a year in middle school. What it really got me doing was talking more. I read aloud, recorded myself speaking, and learned my triggers (stress, PMS). Eventually, I just stopped thinking about it. I still feel my blocks, sometimes I still stutter. I'm ok with that. My boss knows, but really people say I'm about as fluent as any typical English speaker. I feel the stutter more than people hear it. My advice? Talk more, in every situation you can. Eventually, it gets easier and more than acting, the fear goes away.
