Over the years I’ve come to the same hypothesis based on my own personal experiences and opening up about early childhood trauma with my therapist and psychiatrist. I’ve tried looking through journals and studies to see if any back this up but haven’t found any that directly relate to it. No one in my family has a history of stuttering so I’ve always believed that early childhood trauma was what brought mine on. But who knows
