Correct. The ‘I don’t pay attention, it’s easier to flow onto the next thing and keep talking’ is what ought to occur. Similarly, when I don’t pay attention to the way I speak, it flows. For past couple of months, I have been reading aloud. What seems to work for me is when I feel as if I’ll stumble on a word, I elongate the first two letters and ever so slightly breathe out the sound of the word. It keeps me from getting stuck. I wish I had learned this ages ago but never too late to try new ways of verbalizing and communicating with others.
