Sorry that it’s so bad for you. I I never had to compete in mynprofession, social psychology. I lived at a time when being a homemaker was an honored ‘profession’ and it allowed me to avoid the career world after graduation. My husband’s profession allowed me not to be required to work outside the home. Those days seem to be gone now. Although my stutter was mild the very stigma of not feeling normal limited me. I believe there is more acceptance of all disabilities in the workforce, even laws preventing discrimination now.
