My stutter went away (for less than a day)

My stutter went away (for less than a day) I have a bad stutter, and it hinders my ability to do well in school. However, I'll always remember this one class. So here's what happened: It was a biology class, and the teacher would verbally question & grade you based on your answers. That day I remember feeling a robot- nothing inside of me, no emotions, thoughts, etc. I just sat there and mostly looked at the wall. And then the teacher started questioning me. I answered every question without a stutter, and I didn't even realize it until I got home. This was a big step for me, because I would usually stutter to the point where teachers would just tell me to write the answer. I still have a bad stutter, but remembering that day gives me so much happiness. That's why I believe it's mostly psychological, you convince yourself you're gonna stutter when you speak, you're ashamed of it, etc. and all those make you stutter even more. (I don't know why I was a "robot" that day, btw)
