My husband and his brother did, and still occasionally do. Our oldest child did for a hot second in his toddler years and our youngest doesn’t at all. With the oldest we were on it like white on rice and immediately talked with a speech therapist. He grew out of it very quickly but I think my husband’s experience and therefore awareness of it and willingness to seek help makes me believe if is truly was an issue, our child would have a lot of help and support. It may seem like a bigger deal now as you’re deciding whether to have children but kids are truly such an indescribable thing…the risk of possibly having a kid with stutter is not a reason to not bring that life into the world.
