Maybe so... Maybe OP won't feel the affect of this experience but what if they do? Their teacher should be talked to by the schools therapist or counselor. The teachers behavior encourages other students to act with haste and judgment whether that's what they intended or not. OP deserves to be embarrassed and OP deserves to be upset about what happened. Let little issues go and they grow bigger than you could've imagined. Hope you spoke up after class and talked with the teacher again OP! Good luck!
