people just misunderstand it, they see it as a flaw or a personality issue because when they hear about the word "stutter" they think about the normal one, it absolutely sucks to be misunderstood, i major in psychology and i've been in a few situations like this, hell, i even tried to talk to a teacher (thats also supposed to be a psychologist btw) and he looked at me silently then turned around, like wtf, will people ever be aware of speech impediments?
