Highest total comp was ~$195K. Right now it's about $155K. I'm Sr. Software Engineer. When my comp was higher, I was managing, but I only did for 18 months at a different company than where I work now. The demands of the management role were already unreasonable and that coupled with the stress of trying to manage my stutter were too much. I felt like I was never relaxed. Now that my stutter is gone, I'm discovering who I really am and looking forward to one day excelling in a leadership role.
