I'm 59, been stuttering all my life to, and been totally embarrassed by it . I've spent a lifetime hiding from it, not been able to be the person I know I really could of been, been stuck in dead end jobs, not able to have the career I wanted.. Always described as the "quiet or shy one" , when in fact I really had loads to say, but I just couldn't say it.. I don't have a positive thing to say about stammering, to me it's been a lifelong curse.
