Stuttering less when not holding eye contact

Stuttering less when not holding eye contact Hey there, This is my first post here, I've had a stutter since I was 4 years old and it feels like it's getting a bit worse nowadays (mainly blocks with certain words and repetitions). I'm not able to stutter when I'm talking to myself and I barely stutter with my family or when I'm speaking another language, somehow. I would like to know if anyone feels like they stutter more often when they're standing/not moving and talking to someone (holding eye contact) as I seem to have tons of blocks in these situations. However, I'm a lot more fluent when I'm going for a walk with a friend since I believe I don't usually hold eye contact when I'm doing that. Does anyone else experience this too? I'm glad this community is a thing :) Take care!
