Yes that's something that we've read... Not bringing up the stutter. We've stopped telling things like "calm down" or "go slower" or anything like that. My question is how do we avoid it if we see a speech therapist? I'm sorry that you didn't get speech therapy, but it's very encouraging to me that your other family members did and don't have any noticable stutter. Thanks for the reassurance it means a lot. Is it too late for you? Is there an age where speech therapy becomes less effective? I suppose it's harder to change something you've been doing for many many years as opposed to just a few years.
