Celebrities that stutter and some other stutterers in this sub don’t differentiate between the varying severities of one’s stutter compared to others. They will say stuff like “your stutter shouldn’t matter; don’t let it hold you back”which makes me feel like garbage for doing just that. The person saying that is probably a 3 or a 4, not to belittle their experience, but I’m a 8-9 so I can’t help but let it hold me back. I’m tired of that.
