I'm sure my kids (several, my oldest is 17) have noticed my speech patterns are a little different, but I've never really talked with any of them about it and it has never been a big deal. My wife says that she barely notices my stutter, even when I'm going through a rough patch. It's hard for me to understand how it's not glaring to other people but I think we are much more aware of our stutter (because we know what's going on inside our head) than other people.
