SLP - Speech Language Pathologist. ​ Sadly, it is a field that attracts people who either 1) have good intentions, but have to follow an outdated approach/curriculum to help clients or 2) people who get into the field because they think it's an easy payday or simply view it as a job. I've dealt with shitty and amazing SLPs, but sadly they all teach me the same thing. The only difference between them is their attitude. You can literally tell that some of them don't even believe in their work, but need to keep chugging along to get that paycheque. Mind you, no fault of their own since that's the world we live in.
