Am I going to stutter till forever? Hello, I am currently 17 years old, I've been stuttering ever since I can remember (probably started at age 5 or 6) and I would consider the severity of my stutter atleast moderate or slightly above that. Sometimes I have days which I can barely talk, can't even get a single word correct. and sometimes (most of the times) my stutter is just moderate. I can communicate with friends and stuff but stutter is always in the way which sometimes causes me to use different (worse) vocabulary just so I can avoid it. And one of my biggest fears is that i'm going to be stuttering till I die, I can't imagine myself getting a wife and having kids if i'm stuttering badly, atleast I want to help manage my stutter just so it doesn't get in anybody's way. I know this is bad but I feel like my stutter is bothering people around me more than it is bothering me. All I want to know is if stuttering is manageable and can be reduced, because as of now I don't want it to get any worse.
