Do you have any advice on how to vet a SLP to find one who is able to effectively understand/treat disabling covert stuttering in an adult? I’ve tried saying *just that* and have been told “all of our providers are very skilled”. (And it’s validating to read something that confirms that better breathing may not be effective for all). I’m a preschool teacher and feel like quitting everyday - I have so much a avoidance behavior.
