My parents bought an ice store when i was in 9th grade - had to start working there. My stutter/blocks were in full bloom! :( Having to interact with customers, often in a busy/frantic environment was, well.... horror for me! The phone would ring - typically some calling to order an ice cream cake... and I'd have to answer (and at the time, i really couldn't get the word "Hello" out of my mouth). My parents knew i had stuttered, but never knew my problems with the phone - i never told them/anyone! :( It was a horrible experience... but, in the end it may have forced me to just "deal" I still stutter/stammer to this day (59m), and i experience blocks all day long... It's just my existence.
