Extraordinarily high vitamin B1 intake (~2,000 mg daily) has cured my stutter completely, 6 months in I did not stutter as a child. However, I started stuttering in middle school. I slowly lost my ability to speak. I wasn't able to say my name, read in class, or order in the lunch line. My stutter was accompanied with strange tics in my face whenever I spoke. The worse my stutter was, the more intense the secondary tics became. My eyes would involuntarily roll back into my head. My legs would involuntarily move to the side. However, ever since I started taking vitamin B1 with magnesium, my stutter has virtually disappeared. For 6 months, I have been stutter free. But it's been very difficult to convince people because people either don't care (non-stutterers) or stutterers just won't believe me. My family has noticed a significant change in my behavior and speech patterns. Weirdly enough, I've also noticed that my thoughts don't trail off anymore. Whenever I used to think in my head, my internal monologue would often just sort of weirdly stop or feel just really forced. I know it sounds weird, but that's the best way I can describe it. Hopefully this gives some people some ideas on how to cure their stutter. I personally don't believe that anything is set in stone. This was short, I know, but I can provide more details if asked.
