Thanks, that's something I also considered. The hard part about it, though, is the fact that people that are close to me (i.e. friends) most likely do not know of the problem, so even mentioning it jokingly might be a bit unexpected and thus... somewhat awkward. Still, I do think you're right in that a little joke can indeed release the burden of such a problem - so thank you for that. >I'm really skeptical about speech therapy. I'm an adult and I seriously doubt my insurance will cover it, but I do want to give it another go. I hope you do not mind if I ask, but what is your concern with speech therapy? Did you have bad experiences with an earlier therapy? If you do not feel like replying, that's fine.. I'm just very curious.
