I am 25 and have been to lots of speech therapy, but it has not "cured" my stutter. I have never really faced it or accepted it until recently and I have realized that this is just how I was born and there is little I can do about it. Everyone has their downfalls and its our job to look past them and live life the best we can despite them. It's easier said than done, believe me. It's cliche, but it doesn't matter what other people think about you, only what you think of yourself. Try to think of stuttering as something that makes you unique rather than a flaw. Slowly but surely it will get better, friend.
