i am always highly skeptical of this "cure your stutter in X days" or "use this herb and it will go away!" first, i don't think it's the best attitude to act like it's some unsavory thing that needs to be rectified. if you don't stutter anymore, that's great, but after a certain age, a lot of people that are stuttering will continue to stutter for the rest of their lives, and you don't need to be chasing fluency the whole time. there is more to life than stuttering! i like what one stutterer said, it's like a big ship you slowly are changing the direction on. you accept and appreciate and love who you are and continue to work on improving your communication skills as well. some of this cynicism comes from having taken a similarly intense fluency shaping course. i experienced a "fluency high", which i've heard about on other resources, and as my speech began to relax back to its natural state it was especially frustrating and i developed avoidance behaviorisms and covert behavior.
