Hey there, most colleagues and most importantly patients are extremely patient and the more I grow into my role, I notice that they respect me more and are more patient. Like I just became a consultant and have been surprised that no one says a word to me about my stutter. While a few years earlier when I was a resident or a fellow, I’d get some criticism from my superiors. I’m sure it’s the same with nurses, the more superior you are, the easier it gets.
