I met two fellow stutters while I was working (two different jobs), and another as I was buying parts to fix my car. All three had the same smile when I started to stutter and immediately stuttered as they shared how nice it was to meet someone else "like them." We're out there, most of us tend to stay away from people if possible, or just "get by" as needed.
