Stuttering research is rarely funded, it’s doesn’t kill people- directly. Edit- clarity. Cancer research gets a ton of funding due to its affect and seemingly random choice of who it effects. Stuttering, while frustrating, social stigmatizing and ruin’s confidence of people, gets zero funding beyond grants. I’m stoked that a university is doing a study at all.
