I’m not sure I get what you’re asking. Are you asking how my (a stutterer) brain works? I have no idea. For all I know, it’s some sort of magical grey organic computer that generates electricity. If you’re asking me what I think about, you’ll have to be more specific. When stuttering specifically, I’m usually thinking about what I’m trying to say mixed with pangs of anxiety. I can usually “feel” when a block is coming a few words ahead of time. When that happens, it’s something like, “shit, not again.” I’ll usually switch words to something easier to say if I feel a block coming.
