Job interview This is my first time on this sub, nice meeting people who I can relate to. I'm going to have a really important job interview in 2 weeks... I already decided ill tell the interviewer in the beginning of the interview that I stutter, so it's not because I'm stressed, although it could get worse when I stress. But after reading some of the advices in here, I'm rethinking it. One that stood up to me is that if I acknowledge that I stutter I will stutter more. Well, that's something I've done a long time ago, but now I think it will make it worse by telling it to the interviewer, because they will be careful about it and I will most likely think about it, what will cause me to stutter more. But if I don't say anything about it and stutter (I know I will), will it be worse? They might think I'm stressed or lying about something, so I'm not sure what to do - to say it first or to stutter and let them misunderstand why I stutter/ask why I stutter so much mid-interview? I'm just posting this on here to finally hear the opinions and experiences of other people like me, because I realized I've never really talked to a person who stutters as well about that. All advices/comments are welcomed. Thank you all.
