Haha you are absolutely right they are not one to one. For me at least practice is critical and this is a simple way to help me practice more. In my speech therapy days of yor we would call places a lot (pizza place and ask for pricing, music store and ask about availability of an instrument) to practice. This was nice because it wasn't face to face, I couldn't see any reaction that impacted me, and it was totally anonymous. Gave me sort of a clean slate to practice on. This feels somewhat similar. Practice using my smooth speech techniques in a total vacuum...ie me alone talking to a computer lol
