Yes. this was the exact case with me. Went through about 2 years of speech therapy across many different therapists. None of them helped. What did help was being comfortable. I’m 16 and still have a slight stutter, but it’s a hell of a lot better than it was 2 years ago. Actually it’s so much better to the point where I can just stutter through it and be fine. Just speak. Speak with the stutter. Don’t be afraid to say what you think. The silence is what makes it worse. It’s gonna be super uncomfortable, so start with people who you’re comfortable with. Don’t focus on yourself or the stutter, focus on the conversation and letting it flow. It’ll get better with time, so don’t let this minuscule thing control your whole life. You’ve got so many great things to do and say, and this is gonna hold you back mentally a lot more than it will physically and in the real world. But hey, I’m just a 16 year old, so take what I say with a grain of salt!
