Are you very much afraid of a particular person? Hello fellow stutterers! I'm new to reddit When it comes to stuttering, are you afraid of some particular person? In my case it's my dad. I'm always afraid to talk to him, because he is always in a hurry manner. He sometimes scolds me, not for stuttering, but for not following tips like speaking slow etc. Whenever I talk to him, I automatically forget all my techniques and stutter very badly. (Please don't abuse him in comments, he isn't scolding me because I stutter, he scolds me for not following tips) And yes, my mom has said him to not be in hurry while speaking to me, but no change, cause it's in his nature. Btw, I'm 16 y/o.
