Have you done dictation? This is one of the weird things I found helpful lately. I have an accent that dictation doesn’t work very well, and I try to write a story on it, so it requires a lot of pausing. So I say slowly and clearly, and pause a lot, and somehow this slowly becomes a habit when I talk to real people.
