I’m maybe 95% blocks with a dash of prolongations. I, the masochist I am elected to do drama at school where it was dubbed my “dramatic pause.” Seriously though it’s an enigma to me. Im pretty fluent at work, slightly less with my wife and pretty bad with friends and family. What’s that about? I used to think the more comfortable I was with someone the more I stammer, but it’s not bad with my wife. I met her in the US when I had the opportunity to work there (I’m English). Was there for a fee years and picked up an accent and wonder if that’s it. As in, when I talk to her am I using a different area of the brain that goes through Broca’s area? Also notice if I talk to someone ABOUT my stammer it completely goes…
