Weirdest reaction to your stutter I recently went to the hospital for an appointment and the nurse took me to the other room to get my BP and everything. She asked for my name and I started stuttering. I have a blocking stutter so i make some weird faces like eyes half closed and face clenching up etc. And it takes me a while to get a sound out. She saw my face and instantly ran up to me and started rubbing my hands and asking if I was okay. She apparently thought I was having a stroke. I had to first calm her down and then had to write down my name on my phone because i got too embarrassed and I knew i wouldn't be able to get a word out. I haven't had this reaction before so it completely caught me off guard and i still down know if I should find it funny or sad, either way it was embarrassing as hell. What were some of the weirdest reactions u guys have gotten?
