**Hello this is admin of this subredit** Yes Psychiatirst prescribe these medicines, i will suggest you first try SSRI paired with buspirone (daily) or Benzo (as needed), before trying other medications... there are few posts if you go down the thread of SSRIs read them and then you need to ask your psychiatrist to prescribe you... Even SSRI have around 5 different medicatons, so i will say first try escitalopram or Citralopram, you can use the thread flairs to filter these two and read success stories of these two SSRI If SSRI/MAO/Buspirone/SNRI etc dont work, then the last option is Dopamine blockers which Dr Gerald Mcguire uses, there is no thread on this subreddit of dopamine blocker as of now because i didnt got the time [Here is the youtube video of Dr Gerald Mcguire](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uJTlCj-ZP2E)
