If it's a voice call over Zoom, then yes! But if it's a video chat, then I just look at the other person's video. Like u/HumptyDumptyFellHard, I personally find that video calls are much better than phone calls. This definitely isn't a foolproof method, some days just suck and I can't get a clear word out no matter what.
