I did the stutter therapy you mentioned. Focusing on the diaphragm (het middenrif) distracts me from triggers and then I don't stutter during those 10 days.. even when we were outside practicing we didn't stutter. Problem: But when I finished after the 10 days program, and I finally went back home, I started having negative thoughts, such as: "I'm not ready to speak fluently" and "I don't allow techniques to improve my fluency" (etc). So, what then happened was that focusing on the diaphragm, didn't reduce my triggers anymore (that triggered my stuttering), and the technique didn't help anymore. Eventually I stopped using it altogether. Then I developed my own technique, in which I practiced 'to choose to move the speech muscles - in any situation, at any time' (but not by using desire, distraction, confidence, calmness etc). The 'self-made ruleset' that underlie such triggers is what I targeted, and it resulted in speaking fluently for 5 minutes, then 15, then 1 hour, then for a whole day. Now I only stutter if I feel neck pain, which is what I'm focusing on now
