My GF makes me feel good about my stutter I (17M) recently got a girlfriend we’ve been together for 5 months now and she loves my stutter. She noticed it and asked me questions early on about it, because i make a face when i do stutter usually scrunching my lips and raising my head. I always turn away when i do stutter with anyone but she accepts it and says its makes me unique and it’s cute. i didn’t know how to react so i just bawled in her arms (very pathetic to do i think). she makes me feel okay with it not like im some outcast but like i can apart of everyday things. i have been bullied all my life for my stutter to the point where i didn’t talk in school throughout my freshman till junior year and i went online to avoid all of it. and i have a job where i mainly speak to make sandwiches, we have the same job and actually met there. but it’s gotten lighter even because of her acceptance with it and i can calm down when she is near or helping me. i love her for this and i hope other people can find a person to help it lighten the stutter. this is my first post ever im sorry if im a little all over the place i just ranted and wanted to get it out. thank you all and to whoever reads this.
