A message to the researchers. In my opinion: Future research should investigate "internal timing cues"-interventions (as opposed to external speech motor timing cues e.g., a metronome). Future research should investigate "desensitizing to intolerance for pressure/perceived speech errors" triggered by "internal timing cues" (as opposed to using distraction such as moving the focus away from such triggers (caused by the internal timing cues) (say: pressure/perceived errors) to "external speech motor timing cues like a metronome").
