I'm sure you realized it also if you read your own post, where you state that all it's about is 'replacing the fear' or better 'replacing the perceived stresses or stutter expectancy'. Conclusion: So you need to daily read out loud your own perceived stresses (stressors). The goal is to recognize and repeat them often so that they become more 'conscious' in order to easier deal with it. For example 'replacing' as you stated which is *not* gonna be possible if you don't know 'what they are during a stutter' because they are pseudo unconscious (repressed). Result: you can't replace an unconscious stressor. In my case, every day I read out loud my negative affirmations with the positive counter affirmations of those particular perceived stresses. What is your opinion?
