My JOB has been refusing to answer any of my questions about accomodations. They referred me to a new girl who clearly has too much work and not enough experience. They would not answer my questions about the form until I filled the form out and had my doctor fill it out. I finally told my PCP who got mad on my behalf and is filling it out. Been working a phone heavy direct customer service job within my otherwise background customer service field. I had not seen a speech therapist since like 2008 or so when I tried the speech easy and she tried to get a rave review out of me. Nope, it cost me a job interview because loud feedback was heard by the entire staff from my earpiece when a loud noise occured. They didn't even ask lol! "With or without reasonable accomodations" is a hell of an expectation right? I'm doing my best and get SHUSHED while FLUENT because volume helps me force the words out. Others are much louder with client information and much worse at the same job but they treat me like I have less than half a brain. I don't know if my doctor can help me but I work at a nationally acclaimed organization that should know better than to treat me so ignorantly. Bullies never grow up and people who are ignorant usually do not want to learn a better way. Can't change them it just sucks when they're seemingly ruining your life. I only took this part time job because I was promised in 90 days it would become full time with benefits. They heard my need for help with the phone and hired two full time people in my place. They schedule me full time when they want, sometimes once a week. When I am not there for a week the other full timers have done such a bad job I spend half the day making phone calls I should not even have to make.
