I will be attending campus this october as a first semester student. I repeat letters more often than having blocks but when I do block, I stop talking completely and do hands gestures so they get what I'm trying to say (which 40% of the time it's not effective and only make me feel like an idiot). I try to exhale while saying the initial of the word for an example "I'm going to" it will sound like "h-im going to" i hope this make sense lol. Sorry I don't do much technique so that's the best tip I can give
