Has anyone ever tried to use your stutter against you?

Has anyone ever tried to use your stutter against you? I work at a department store (have only been here for about 2.5 months now) and the managers in my department encouraged me to apply for a management position. I was hesitant at first but decided to go for it. I told another coworker that I was going for it, and instead of being supportive, she told me that she also applied for the position, then said that she thinks that I’m going to have a really hard time with it because of my stutter. This took me by surprise, because although I know that stuttering has been a challenge for me throughout my life, it has never interfered with my work. I was almost offended that she brought it up. Have you guys ever had someone do this to you? What did you do/say in this situation? I responded with “yeah, I can see that. But I’ve been in management positions before and I’ve never had a problem.”
